Entity Setup
An entity in Atchr represents your business, website, or organization. Each entity has a unique Entity ID that you'll use to connect your platform integrations.
Creating Your Entity
Follow these steps to create and configure your entity:
- Log in to your Atchr dashboard
- Navigate to the "Entities" section
- Click "Create New Entity"
- Fill in the required information:
- Entity Name: Your business or website name
- Email Address: Contact email for this entity
- Description: Brief description of your business (optional)
- Website URL: Your website address (optional)
- Click "Create Entity" to save
Finding Your Entity ID
Once your entity is created, you'll need to locate your unique Entity ID for use in platform integrations.
Your Entity ID can be found in the entity details section of your dashboard.
This ID is what you'll enter into the Shopify app or WordPress plugin configuration.
Important: Keep your Entity ID secure and only use it on websites you own or manage.

Entity Configuration
After creating your entity, you can customize various settings:
- Chat Widget Appearance: Customize colors, position, and styling
- Welcome Messages: Set automated greeting messages
- Team Members: Add team members who can respond to chats
