Shopify Integration
Integrate Atchr with your Shopify store to provide real-time customer support and boost sales through live chat functionality.
Make sure you have Created your Atchr account and Set up your Entity before proceeding.
Step 1: Install the Atchr Shopify App
First, you'll need to install our official Shopify app from the Shopify App Store.
- Go to the Atchr Shopify App in the Shopify App Store
- Click "Add app" to install it to your store
- Review the permissions and click "Install app"
- You'll be redirected to the Atchr configuration page
Step 2: Configure Your Entity ID
After installing the app, you need to connect it to your Atchr entity using your Entity ID.

- In the Atchr app configuration page, locate the "Entity ID" field
- Copy your Entity ID from your Atchr dashboard
- Paste the Entity ID into the input field
- Click "Save Configuration"
Step 3: Add Chat Widget to Your Theme
Now you need to activate the chat widget in your Shopify theme using App Embeds.
- In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes
- Click Customize on your active theme
- In the theme editor, click App embeds (usually in the left sidebar)
- Find and activate "Atchr Chat Widget"
- Click Save to apply the changes to your theme
Your Atchr chat widget should now be visible on your Shopify store. Visit your store to see it in action.
Customization Options
You can customize your chat widget's appearance and behavior from your Atchr dashboard:
- Widget Position: Choose where the chat button appears on your store
- Colors & Styling: Match your brand colors and theme
- Welcome Messages: Set custom greeting messages for visitors
- Automated Responses: Set up chatbots for common questions
Managing Conversations
All chat conversations from your Shopify store will appear in your Atchr dashboard. You can:
- Respond to customer inquiries in real-time
- View customer information
- Transfer conversations to team members
- Access conversation history and analytics
Troubleshooting
Make sure you've:
- Entered the correct Entity ID in the app configuration
- Activated the "Atchr Chat Widget" in App Embeds
- Saved your theme after making changes
- Cleared your browser cache and refreshed the page
Widget customization is done through your Atchr dashboard, not in Shopify. Log in to your Atchr account and navigate to your entity settings to modify colors, position, and styling.
